Collection: Orisha

Regardless of how you spell it, Orisa, Orisha, Oricha or Orixa, these deities are forces of nature, who once roamed the Earth as human beings like you and me. We go to where they reside to ask for assistance, present offerings and/or simply be in their presence.

Yansa
The Orisha of the Changing Winds Oya Yansa: she forms, intensifies, and finally, clears out what does not belong in our life.
I've depicted her in her three phases.

Forming           Intensifying         Clearing Out

Olokun
The sexually ambiguous deep sea deity Olokun represents all things dark, deep, rich and secretive. In the Eerindilogun divination system this orisha makes an appearance in the Odu of Odi, Merinla and Opira.
