We're Okay - Abiku Children of Irona (Watercolor)
The Iyaami or Elders of the Night -represented here by the owl- care for the Abiku or those who were born to die, in a place called Irona or Egbe Orun.  The relationships formed among the spirits in Egbe Orun are so tight that when one of these children are reborn, the remaining spirits come to find them in the home of their new family to take him or her back to the forest. And, thus, the cycle of being born to die continues until ceremonies are performed on Earth in order for the cycle to stop. (Inspired by the book "Abiku" by Dr. Oba Oriate David ala Aggayú.)
