Collection: The Iyawo "Year in White" Shop

Iyawo is a term used to describe a person during their very first year after an initiation into the mysteries of a particular Orisha. Iyaworaje is known as the "year in white" where the Iyawo or initiate, among other observances prescribed, is required to dress entirely in white.

Regardless of which particular Orisha a person is initiated into, EVERYONE must pay homage to Eshu & Elegua whom I feature on many of the white clothes in this collection.
